Speed strategy 🏁

Time yourself to be prepared for test conditions and test pressure until you feel confident that you can do the problems fast enough.

Once you start the timer, quickly skim through the questions to label the easy questions and the hard questions. Then, start with the easy questions first and save the hard questions for last.

Don't be obsessive about going in order: the goal is to get the easy and short questions done first. Believe it or not, your brain will be working out the harder questions in the background as you go along. I’ve seen it happen myself. Trust me, by the time you get back to the hard questions, they'll usually make more sense and be easier to solve.

It's important to recognize and identify the different categories of questions on the test so that you'll immediately know which problems you can answer quickly and which ones will take more time.

It's best to quickly guess on the hard or long questions, make a mark next to them, and then just move on. You can always go back and double check your answers after you've finished the quick and easy questions.
