Derivative - an instantaneous rate of change. Unlike a slope that measures the rate of change between two points, a derivative measures that exact rate of change at one point. Slope are usually for straight lines, while derivatives are used for curves.
Integral - if derivatives measure change, then I like to think of integrals as measuring accumulation (the area under the curve, above the x axis).
Limit – A limit exists when a function approaches the same value from the left as it does from the right.
